Here are some pictures Pictures from the California trip. Clockwise, starting at the top. Unexpected delights and reminders of the presence spiritual guides at all turns of the path greet me as I walk the campus of Pacifica Graduate Institute. The Joseph Campbell archives are but one of the many intellectual and aesthetic joys the incredibly beautiful campus offers. More delights of the path bloom in the organic gardens at Pacifica. Carpenteria is a major flower-growing region, a symphony of color, and music to this budding gardener's heart. Streets in Santa Barbara also burst with color. Salt marsh near the ocean in Carpenteria is haven for wildlife. On the campus of UCal Santa Barbara to do some research... outdoor sculpture, fitting introduction to the treasures inside the on-campus museum. Santa Barbara's Spanish heritage is honored and given pride of place in many neighborhoods. Down by the harbor in friendly, charming Santa Barbara. A stunning Spanish-style nook caught my eye as I walked along. (Center) The Library at Pacifica Grad Institute. (Upper Center) The Historical Society in Santa Barbara. (Top Left) Flowerfalls on the campus at Pacifica Grad.
