Dr. Benjamin Spock died
Monday, March 16, 1998;
born New Haven, Connecticut, on May 2, 1903.
According to his wife,
Dr. Spock donated much of his income in recent years
to anti-war and civil rights causes.
He cared, still, and to the end, about the children.
Us.
Our children.
Our children's children.
Sometimes the good live long.
But they always die too soon.
Light the way, gentle Dr.
